Canoo 2.0 is an iPhone app developed by the Institute for Canadian Citizenship, designed to provide newcomers with VIP access to over 1,400 cultural and outdoor experiences in Canada. With a free one-year membership, Canoo offers unlimited free admission to hundreds of national and provincial parks, museums, and other nature experiences, including the Vancouver Art Gallery, the Nova Scotia Museum of Natural History, Wood Buffalo National Park, and the Royal Ontario Museum.
The signup and signin processes have been improved, making them easier and more reliable, and the new design of the app takes inspiration from the “trail blaze” – the painted lines that mark your path as you hike through the magnificent beauty of Canada. Canoo also offers a one-time discount of 50% off VIA Rail Canada travel anywhere across the country, and a one-time discount of 15% for domestic travel with Air Canada (maximum four tickets).
